Meet the Founder
In 2008, Melanie Johannes-Titre saw a need for more social and educational programs for children and young adults on her native island of St. Croix. Before venturing out as a business owner, Malanie worked in Sales for over 10 years with Bellows International. With a passion for education, Melanie decided to launch Inner Changes as a non- profit organization. She first started her journey as an entrepreneur with Inner Changes by offering mentorship and etiquette programs for young women and leadership programs for boys. With deep professional and social relationships, her classes became bigger and so did her ideas. Five years ago she expanded to a K-12 academic school program. She now offers a fully accredited curriculum and provides students with a rigorous program of studies that have been aligned and articulated to the Common Core State Standards and the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards.
